Event Description
The Namosi Challenge 2026 is Fiji’s premium trail running event which includes the Half
Marathon, Team marathon (4 people, 10k per person) and the 10k Trail Run.
The course will follow a stretch of difficult track in the Namosi highlands used during the
“World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji.” The races will be a challenge for even the
fittest of athletes, providing the opportunity for 500 runners from all over Fiji and beyond to
experience the rugged beauty of Viti Levu’s interior.
We are strictly limited to 500 participants for this event. Please note this event sold out in
2025 – please ensure your entry is completed in a timely manner to avoid disappointment.
10km runners and team challengers will need to make their own way to Namosi Secondary
School. Half marathoners must purchase a bus ticket in addition to their half Marathon
registration fee.
Community support
For every entry ticket you purchase, $5 from your fee will go towards the rewiring of Namosi
Primary and Secondary School buildings, and upgrade works to their ablution blocks.
